Day 1: Transfer you to Rongai gate.

After breakfast, you will have transport to the Rongai gate about 3 to 4 hours from Arusha. Your real adventure will start by passing alongside mountain farmer ‘field and alpine forest before it inters the sparse mountain forest zone, you can possibly spot some white and black colobus monkey on the to Simba camp, after 3 hours of climb, you will reach the Simba camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Climb from Simba camp to Kikelelwa.

From Simba camp start your day with a light breakfast, this trail will take you to the second cave camp where you will stop for the hot lunch therefore after a short break, you will carry on to Kikelelwa through undulating terrain to camp, the climb will take 6 hours to the next camp.

Day 3: Climb from Kikelelwa to Mawenzi hut.

Nile Safaris and Tours team will provide you with breakfast before starting your hiking day easy and moderate slope. The typical landscape vegetation will soon start disappearing and the scenery will become more open with occasional rock formations, you will appreciate the breath-taking views of Kibo and Mawenzi during the good weather, after crossing few rocks, you will be reaching the Mawenzi hut camp for lunch and rest.

Day 4: Climb from Mawenzi hut to Kibo hut.

From Mawenzi hut start your day with a light breakfast, the trail will lead to the base camp Kibo hut through the absence of vegetation as one of the characteristics of the landscape, few types of grass and other plant species can get along in this dry area and thin air. The climb will take approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Day 5: Climb from Kibo to Uhuru Peak.

It is known as the summit final; the summit attack will be approximately 5-6 hours from Kibo to Uhuru peak 5,895 meters. The summit attack will start at midnight when the lava ash is still frozen and throw on it easily, you will experience the sunrise at the Gilimans’point 5,720 meters, the sunrise will warm you while you climb for another 1 hour to uhuru peak. After reaching the summit, you will take the same trail to descend back to Kibo for rest and hot lunch, thereafter lunch and rest you will continue descent to Horombo hut

Day 6: From Horombo to Marangu gate.

Your Nile Safaris and tours team will provide you with an early breakfast, thereafter you will have easy descents approximately 4-5 hours to Marangu gate, this trail will take you back to Montana forest as you return to Marangu gate. Day 7: Arusha to Serengeti National Park.

Your Nile Safari tour driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Serengeti National for animals sighting, approximately of 5 to 6 hours drive from Arusha to Serengeti, you will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area while spotting animals on the way to Serengeti, after evening game drive you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 8: Full day of game drive in Serengeti.

After breakfast, you will leave with a picnic lunch for a game drive around the Serengeti National Park in different locations and times. Your professional driver will be searching for wildlife animals in which Serengeti is famed and known for. Late in the evening as the sunrise goes down you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 9: Full game drive in Serengeti.

Your Nile Safari tours 6 days Kilimanjaro climb, and 4 days safari will begin after your breakfast, you will have a full day of observing animals in their natural habitat a different part of Serengeti National Park, you will be witnessing animal migrating, pride of lion, leopard, giraffe and various birds’ species

Day 10: From Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater.

After an early breakfast, you will start with an early game drive in Serengeti as you make your way to Ngorongoro Crater, the Ngorongoro crater is the world largest unbroken caldera a thousand of animals live, afternoon you will enjoy your picnic lunch thereafter continue with animals sighting as you way out of crater. The journey will end by returning to hotel in Arusha or Airport, concluding your 10 day Kilimanjaro and safari in Tanzania
