Day 1: Climb from Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut.

You will be picked up from your hotel after an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Marangu gate. The drive from Moshi town to Marangu gate is approximately an hour. You will be given lunch boxes at Marangu gate soon as the registration and weighing of the porter luggage have been done. The trekking will be starting through the Montana forest where you might see black and white colobus monkeys scrambling through the lush vegetation. The hiking time is approximately 4 hours with a distance of 7 kilometers.

Day 2: Climb from Mandara hut to Horombo hut.

The hiking time from Mandara hut to Horombo is approximately 6 hours, you will start the trekking to Horombo after an early breakfast at Mandara hut, after 1 hour of hiking the vegetation will start to change to shrubs and more open and clearer, as you arrive to Horombo you will have breathtaking view of Mawenzi peak and Kibo peak.

Day 3: Climb from Horombo hut to Kibo hut.

You will begin your trekking to Kibo hut through long trail, you will pass last water point which is followed by the point called “saddle” less plant and plateau links the Kibo summit and Mawenzi, the hiking time will be 5-6 hours.

Day 4: Climb from Kibo to Summit.

It is known as the summit final; the summit attack will be approximately 5-6 hours from Kibo to Uhuru peak 5,895 meters. The summit attack will start at midnight when the lava ash is still frozen and through on it easily, you will experience the sunrise at the Gilimans’point 5,720 meters. After reaching the summit, you will take the same trail to descend back to Kibo for a rest and hot lunch.

Day 5: Descend from Horombo to Marangu gate.

After an early breakfast at Horombo hut, you will begin to descend to Marangu gate approximately of 4 hours, the trail passes through the heather and more land and rain forest before the gate. Celebration for your achievement will be done at the gate by your professional guide and team by giving you Kilimanjaro certificate thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Arusha to Tarangire National Park.

After an early breakfast at your hotel or lodge our expert safari drive will pick you up and transfer you to Tarangire National Park for a full day of animal sighting. The drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park is about 2 hours, the park is famous for its mass of elephants, wildebeest, cape buffalo and baobab tree. After a full experience in Tarangire National Park. You will be transferred to the lodge for dinner ad overnight stay at ngare lodge.

Day 7: Drive to Manyara National Park.

Your 5 days Kilimanjaro climb, and 2 days safari will take you to visit Lake Manyara National Park for animal sightings. The major attraction of Lake Manyara National Park is the tree-lion climb, a thousand pink flamingo, elephant, zebra, wildebeest, hippopotamus and hot spring. The 5 days Kilimanjaro climb, and 2 days safari will end with a drive to arusha of approximately two hours.
